Premium Program For High Net Worth Individuals, Physicians,
Executives, Real Estate Investors and Developers, those with Special
Circumstances. Credit Audit, Verification, and Fraud Protection.
The firm of Smith & Gromann, P.A. understands the
sacrifices and duty provided by all members of the armed forces. One of the
primary reasons for the revocation of security clearances is negative or
derogatory credit information. For those on active duty or deployed overseas it
may be difficult and time consuming to address inaccurate, outdated or
incorrect items on your credit report. It is not prudent or advisable to wait
through the process of obtaining or updating a security clearance to learn that
outdated, inaccurate or other improper information has caused issues with your
clearance or otherwise negatively affected your credit. As a member of the
armed forces you are also entitled to benefits under the SSCRA (Soldiers and
Sailors Civil Relief Act) which among other things provides you with the
ability to lower the interest rate on all pre-existing finance obligations to
6% interest. Contacting creditors and others after you have been deployed can
be a time consuming and disruptive task.
Difficulties with IRS tax obligations, liens or other matters
never get better with time. The IRS understands that taxpayers may not have the
ability to pay for tax liability and if this can be proven to them they often
substantially discount tax liability. The Internal Revenue Service Code ("RIC")
is one of the most complex laws and regulations ever written. Most consumers do
not know their rights and there are many ways that taxpayers can prove to the
IRS that they should not be responsible for certain tax obligations, especially
in a business context.
